Do you have colleagues who’ve embellished their laptops in particularly hanging or memorable ways? How do laptop lids range between school, personnel, and college students? Are professors much more likely to express political beliefs in how they beautify their laptops than staff – or less? Would a cultural anthropologist, or perhaps a sociologist, be able to mention something meaningful about the lifestyle of your campus by searching at the open laptops? What would possibly they are saying approximately your campus?
How have laptop decorations been modified over time? Has the spread of smartphones changed how we customize our laptops? Is there a wealth issue to computer design, with the students of some establishments relying on computer labs for their computing (and as a result no longer having laptops to customize)?
Is there any prohibition at your college from customizing university-owned laptops? It does no longer seem like DISQUS permits pics in feedback. That is just too terrible. I’ll tell you what.
